This marked the beginning of my interests in the Ai field. This software allows users to make sustainable ant colonys by programming ant's "genes" with Turing Machine statements.
{State, To State, Smells Phermone/Trigger, Stack of Actions} The goal was to solve simple puzzle challenges or to build the longest lasting colony possible. This was made in C++ with Allegro. A library that used to be helpful for drawing sprites. I created this project solo in 2013. To prove how combinations of simple ai could make a complex swarm one. Also because I really wanted to see how big a colony I could make. Answer: About 35 ants for several minutes, then back to school work. Goal: One day to rebuild in Unity, the UI would be very simple, and my current knowledge of Dictionary,Lists and Delegate functions would greatly improve scalability. |
